We had a request for a signed bookplate add-on. A "bookplate" is a sticker with the author's signature. It's a way of turning unsigned books (such as paperbacks) into signed books. This has now been added to the add-on options. It will be about 3x3 inches, signed with a silver sharpie, and look something like this.

    Yes, you read that right: Ranger of the Night Guild's Limited Edition is fully funded.

    And not just at 100% (that was reached by the 2-hour mark)!

    No, we are blowing past 150% and well on our way to 200% funding.

    To say that we are outperforming the Book 1 campaign at this point is an understatement of the highest magnitude.

    ALL I CAN SAY IS THANK YOU!

    We've already GUARANTEED that this book is going to happen, and it's gonna be a beauty.

    Now, let's see just how epic we can make it...

    Keep an eye out, because tomorrow (or the next day, if the gods of travel are unkind) I'll send an update laying out the FIRST TWO stretch goals I've got planned.

    I am mind-boggled! 

    We've hit 200% funding in less than 24 hours.

    Y'all are something truly special! This campaign is far exceeding both the performance of Book 1 and my wildest expectations.

    And to think we still have 20 days to go...

    I've been racking my brain to come up with the best possible Stretch Goals for a book that's already packed to the hilt with all the epic features we achieved in the first campaign.

    I think you'll be happy with what I came up with. Here are the first two:

    I LOVE the characters in An Orchestra of Treachery--a story written thanks to a special backer who got the "Craft Your Own Heist" Tier in the first campaign.

    His amazing imagination came up with these characters and set me a challenge that I had A LOT of fun writing.

    And now, if we hit that first stretch goal, you'll get to see them brought to life in the same character sketches featured in the Deluxe Hardcover.

    Gold Foil Update:

    Do you remember, that purple foil won the vote so the foil printing on the hardback (under the dust jacket) will be purple? Several die-hard gold color-loving backer's have asked whether we can have gold as a paid add-on option. Given the number of interested people, I got the printer and my fulfillment company on board. So the gold foil add-on is a go! If gold is important to you, you can now add it to your pledge!

    I second this. Even if it's just paragraphs in a word document. The video previews made by content creators barely skim over some rules and vaguely go over others. In some videos a situation conveniently doesn't apply and they just go on without explaining what would happen should it had applied. As a concrete example: no video explains how asteroid fields get placed on the board, when are they placed, and what triggers their placement.
